Norse was an American Beat Generation Poet who started as WH Auden’s secretary and went on to frequent James Baldwin, Ginsberg, Burroughs, Bukowski, Anais Nin and so many more. A true master of the colloquial style of the Beat Generation, and this particular collection includes many of the work he wrote in Hydra, Athens, and Delphi in 1965.
